SMATE Open House!

The Science, Math and Technology Education (SMATE) Department at Western Washington University (WWU) warmly invites you to join us at the Learning Resource Center in WWU's Science Lecture building. Our objective is to cultivate connections between K-12 educators and SMATE Faculty and Staff, fostering collaborative efforts to enhance each other's work and leverage synergies within our educational community.

EarthGen: Climate Justice League, Assemble!

EarthGen is excited to share t his cohort-based learning opportunity designed for teachers across Washington State to deepen their Climate Justice learning. Climate Justice League, Assemble! When: Feb 15 2024 9AM - 3PM Where: Good Shepherd Center in Seattle Climate Justice League, Assemble!  is an  in-person offering on  February 15th from 9am-3pm at the Good Shepherd Center in Seattle  and will provide teachers opportunities to critically define climate justice education and improve their understanding of Anti-racist and Anti-colonial science teaching. Educators will be invited to participate in online communities of practice following the workshop. Hello all!   NCESD 171 (Wenatchee) are excited to offer some ESD Remote Learning professional learning around Desmos.   Participants will experience the different tools and activities Desmos has to offer for K-5 & 6-12 virtual learning and in class instruction.
